Married to Rivka née Slonim (born in Hevron, the eighth generation in Eretz israel, scion of Lubavitch).
One daughter, one son, ten grandchildren.
Education:
In 1928 Dr Burg graduated from the Gymnasium in Dresden. He studied at
the universities of Berlin and Leipzig, as well as learning at the Rabbinical
Seminary in Berlin, where he was ordained in 1938. In 1938 he made Aliya
to Palestine and continued his studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
